We deliver fun-filled themed lunches to make our Jackson Staff feel pampered and special. This is an easy way to get involved as a parent at Jackson! If you are interested in helping us with donations, contact us and you will be added to our list. Each month we send an email with a list of items we need and then people respond until the list is completed. Click on the dates below to sign up for an item to bring. On the day of the lunch you just need to drop your item at the front office and we will take it from there. Get involved! The staff love it and are always so grateful. The Staff Appreciation Lunch Committee Needs Your Help!
WWe are looking for more individuals to join our dedicated team. These positions involve:
- □ Planning staff lunches through June of next year.
- □ Attending the lunches once a month from approximately 9:00 a.m. through 1:00 p.m. to set up, serve, and clean up. Lunches are always on Wednesdays, typically the 2nd Wednesday of each month.
- □ Providing (typically) two crock pots of the main dish determined ahead of time by you and your teammates. Main dish ingredients are usually provided at our own expense (although reimbursements are available for some purchases).
- □ Taking charge of, or assisting with, a specific monthly task including things like decorations, music, and notifications to JHS staff. Paper goods and decorations are reimbursed expenses.
- □ Having fun!
This is a great group to be involved in, and the staff are extremely appreciative of each lunch and the time dedicated to them. If this sounds like a good fit for you, please contact Michelle Anderson at email@example.com or 425-402-1042, or any other committee member.

2017-2018 Lunch Dates
On Wednesday, January 10, our teachers and staff enjoyed a ‘50s diner themed luncheon with all kinds of comfort foods: meatloaf, macaroni & cheese, chicken pot pie, BLT salad, deviled eggs, root vegetable medley, scalloped potatoes & ham, and many desserts including banana pudding, Jell-O salad, bundt cake, angel food cake, cookies, chocolate cupcakes, and pineapple upside-down cake! Thank you to all of you who helped make this possible; our teachers and staff are so appreciative of your time and contributions!

December 13th brought a wonderful holiday staff appreciation luncheon, thanks to all of you! The menu included turkey, cranberry/pomegranate spinach salad, stuffing, mashed potatoes and gravy, cranberry/apricot sauce, green bean casserole, roasted root vegetables, rolls, coffee and the most beautiful and delicious desserts! Thank you so much to all of you who made this possible; it was deeply appreciated by all who attended!

On Wednesday, November 8, the JHS teachers and staff were treated to an Apple Cup themed luncheon! The buffet included lentil soup, tortilla soup, clam chowder, cheesy potato soup, creamy chicken gnocci soup, apple-cranberry almond coleslaw and assorted desserts and coffee. Thank you to everyone who donated items or baked desserts - it was truly appreciated by all who attended!

On Wednesday, October 11, JHS teachers and staff enjoyed a pasta feast! The menu included lasagna, bow tie chicken alfredo, mostaccioli, gluten-free pasta primavera, spaghetti squash with two kinds of sauce, penne pasta with meaty red sauce, rolls, Italian salad, and a beautiful dessert buffet.
