Henry M. Jackson High PTSA (JHS PTSA) is:

  • A powerful voice for JHS students
  • A relevant resource for JHS families, staff, students and community, and 
  • An advocate for the well-being and education of our students.

 

2026-27 Goals:

Communication
Communicate with families, staff, students, and the community through:

  • JHS PTSA Welcome Communication
  • A minimum of 10 Wolf Tracks newsletters
  • A minimum of 4 JHS PTSA membership meetings
  • Exploring creative communications to engage families
  • Sharing DEI resources

Membership

  • Increase family, student, staff and community memberships to 350
  • Achieve 100% staff membership

Programs

  • Provide a minimum of 2 family, parent and/or student education opportunities
  • Provide JHS Senior Scholarships
  • Provide funding and/or volunteer support for PTSA and school programs, events, and services that benefit students, families, and staff
  • Advertise for National PTA and WSPTA programs such as Reflections, WSPTA Essay Contest, and WSPTA Senior Scholarships

Advocacy​

  • Encourage student involvement in advocacy/legislative activities
  • Send voting delegates to Legislative Assembly

Humanitarian

  • Support JHS student and family needs through fundraising and/or activities
